2247-D National Young Researchers Program

The goal of the TÜBİTAK 2247-D National Young Researchers Program is to support young scientists who will bring new perspectives to the researchers with pioneering and groundbreaking studies and have the potential to make an important discovery and / or invention.

 

Application Criteria:

•          Applicants are obliged to be working in Turkey as of the first day of the application

•          Early stage researchers under the age of 40 with 1 to 4 years of postdoctoral research experience

 

In addition, at least 2 of the following items must be provided:

       • Provided that the number of publications is at least 5; at least 50% of all publications are included in journals in the 25%  highest cited / Q1

       • Scopus Field Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) or WoS Category Normalized Citation Impact (CNCI) value is greater than 1

       • Having completed European Research Council (ERC) project or Horizon 2020 projects as a coordinator or having  Marie Skłodowska Curie Action (MSCA)  projects (IF, RISE)

        • Having received TÜBİTAK Incentive Award or TWAS Incentive Award or TÜBA GEBİP Award

 

The Scope of the Fellowship:

  • Total support: 5 Million TL +  overhead 
  • Project Incentive Bonus (PTİ) (Upper limit 6,500 TL / month)
  • Scholarship (PhD student: Full / Partial 14.000 / 4.200 TL / month, Post-doc 19.000 TL / month)

 

Note: If the institution/organization where the project will be carried out is a Foundation University on the application date, 25% of the support to be provided within the program's scope will be covered by the institution/organization where the project will be carried out.

 

Duration of the Fellowship: Maximum 36 months
