European Green Deal Call
The European Green Deal was set out to achieve EU’s climate targets for 2030 and 2050 for transition into a carbon-free economy. The main objectives of the Green Deal Call are as follows:
- Supplying clean, affordable and secure energy,
- A zero-pollution ambition for a toxic-free environment,
- “From Farm to Fork” : a fair, healthy and environmentally friendly food system,
- Building and renovating in an energy and resource-efficient way,
- Preserving and restoring ecosystems and biodiversity,
- Mobilizing industry for a clean and circular economy,
- Accelerating the shift to sustainable and smart mobility.
The program aims to call for projects that deliver tangible and visible results relatively quickly. In addition to innovation and demonstration projects, research approaches in the social sciences are also incorporated in the call to increase its impact.
