MSCA Staff Exchange – SE 2023 Call

MSCA Staff Exchange – SE call has been published. The call is aimed both qualitatively and quantitatively to strengthen human potential in research and technology, support the career development of researchers, and support international and intersectoral researcher circulation.  

 

Application Conditions

 

Consortiums that can be formed within the scope of the SI call require the participation of three different organizations from at least three different countries:

 

Within the scope of the SE call;

  • International roaming from EU Member States and Associated Countries (within Europe) to Third Countries (outside Europe) is funded by the European Commission.
  • Within EU Member States and Associated Countries, movements made between sectors (from academic institutions to non-academic institutions; from non-academic institutions to academic institutions) and from the same sector, provided that they do not exceed 1/3 of the total exchange period and are interdisciplinary, are funded by the European Commission.

 

Circulations outside this scope can be written in the project proposal, but only the circulations between the countries mentioned above can be funded.

 

The total project duration can be up to 4 years, and inter-institutional personnel exchanges should be organized for a period not exceeding 12 months per person, provided that they are institutional personnel. The 12-month circulation period in question can be divided by at least one month for each researcher and can be spread over the 4-year project period.

 

Staff Exchange Budget

 

  • Total Budget: 78.5 Million Euros
  • Top-up Allowance for Contributions for Seconded Staff Members: 2,300 Euros
  • Research Training and Networking Contribution for Institutional Contributions: 1,300 Euros
  • Management and Indirect Contribution for Institutional Contributions: 1,000 Euros

 

All countries can partner in SE projects, but not all are eligible for support. You can find up-to-date information about associated countries and Third Countries eligible to receive support from the document here. Suppose it is planned to establish a partnership with these countries. In that case, the BİDEB 2221 Program can also benefit the personnel to be assigned to Turkey from these countries within the project's scope.

 

Application Period

 

The call for 2023 was opened on October 5, 2023, and the call is planned to close on February 28, 2024.
