Our Two Faculty Members Honored by Elginkan Foundation

Two of our faculty members were honored by Elginkan Foundation under the “Turkish Culture Research and Technology Awards” program. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the Turkish Culture Research and Technology Awards Program. The awards were established to preserve and study the Turkish cultural heritage; promote the development of new services to contribute to the Turkish culture, technology, and industry; to promote new research towards these goals; and to share their outputs with the Turkish society. This year, Dr. Ali SERDAR, a member of our Faculty of Social Sciences, has been honored with the Turkish Culture Research Award in recognition of his project “Serial Novel in Turkish Literature” (1831-1928), while Prof. Dr. Murat UYSAL, our Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department Head, has been honored with the Technology Award, in recognition of his project "Optical Wireless Technologies for 5G Communications and Beyond".
