Participation in Cost Actions

The European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) is an intergovernmental organization for collaboration in science and technology across Europe and for the pan-European coordination of nationally- funded research projects. TÜBİTAK is the scientific coordinator of COST in Turkey. Please click here for detailed information about 45 new COST actions approved in 2020.

If You Are Not A Researcher Who is the Main Proposer of an Accepted COST Action;

To participate in the COST actions as an MC member, please see the guidelines below:

1. a) If you do not currently have a project related with the action, you may submit a relevant project proposal to the TÜBİTAK 2515 COST Support Program. If your project is accepted, you may then become an MC member. (Before submitting a project proposal, researchers must check if Turkey has any available MC quota for the respective COST action.

1. b)If you have an ARDEB ((1001/3501/1003/Bilateral Cooperation), TEYDEB (1501/1505/1507/1509/1511), BİDEB (2232, 2236), EU Framework Program, or Public Organization/Research Center/Research Hospital-funded research project which is still ongoing or ended within at most the last three years, you may be assigned to a COST action as an MC member.

2. You may also be assigned as an MC member to a COST action by submitting a letter of endorsement from the respective Action Chair/Main Proposer.
