The First ARTEMIS Project in Turkey

EU’s foremost research program in “Embedded Systems”, ARTEMIS (http://www.artemis-ju.eu), and TÜBİTAK jointly funded a 3-year project at ÖzÜ with an approximate budget of 500,000TL. Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Fatih Uğurdağ, faculty member of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department will be the coordinator of the project entitled as “ALMARVI: Algorithms, Design Methods, and Many-Core Execution Platform for Low-Power Massive Data-Rate Video and Image Processing”. The total budget of the project is approximately 48 million TL and consortium has 16 partners, including Philips-Netherlands, Nokia-Finland, and Aselsan-Turkey. This project happens to be the first academic ARTEMIS project in Turkey.
