'Human Rights Education' Research Grant Call

Human rights education in higher education is important in the establishment of education and specialization in different fields and therefore the culture and functioning of the democratic society. In this way, individuals can contribute to the training of young people who can have the chance to influence society by doing their profession based on human rights and democratic culture. UAV Research in Higher Education in Turkey calls for research to be done in this area and aims to support the literature.

Research Suggestions / Articles to be Supported:

• Analysis of the general situation of Human Rights education and research in Higher Education

• Different dimensions of inclusive education in higher education (content, acquisitions, teaching and learning methods and techniques, measurement and evaluation techniques, etc.)

• Higher education and discrimination

• Rights-based approaches in courses and programs in higher education in the fields of women, disabled, children, elderly and refugees

Support Amount: Maximum 15,000 TL for research, 4,000 TL maximum for articles

Application Deadline: December 15, 2020 for articles, October 1, 2020 for research proposals
