IEEE Turkey Scientist Awards
IEEE Turkey established the Scientist Awards as an annual awards program in 2017 to recognize and encourage distinguished scientists. Applications are now invited for the Scientist Awards Program 2020.
IEEE Turkey Lifetime Achievement Award: This award is presented to outstanding scientists in recognition of their international contributions to the Turkish academia through their original, pioneering, and groundbreaking research within the IEEE fields.
IEEE Turkey Research Incentive Award: IEEE Turkey Research Incentive Award is presented to honor the outstanding research achievements of leading scientists in the IEEE disciplines, who completed their Ph.D. degrees within the last ten years, conducted a significant part of their postdoctoral research in Turkey, and currently reside in Turkey. For 2020 applications, applicants must have obtained their Ph.D. degrees on January 1, 2020 or later.
IEEE Turkey Dissertation Award: IEEE Turkey Dissertation Award is given to young promising scientists with an outstanding dissertation who completed their doctoral degrees in one of the fields of the IEEE at a Turkish university within the last two years. For 2020 applications, applicants must have obtained their Ph.D. degrees on January 1, 2018 or later.
IEEE Turkey Outstanding Service Award: This award is presented to honor outstanding voluntary contributions to IEEE Turkey.
Application and Evaluation Process:
- Applicants can apply personally or be nominated for Research Incentive and Dissertation Awards.
- Nominees for the Lifetime Achievement and Distinguished Service Awards are determined by the IEEE Turkey Awards Committee.
