L'ORÉAL- UNESCO Fellowships for Women in Science 2021

Supported by L'Oréal Turkey and the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, L'ORÉAL UNESCO Fellowships for Women in Science awards are open to promote, enhance and encourage the women scientist to contribute their scientific work and research careers in Turkey.

Areas to be supported: 

• Life & Environmental Sciences

Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Ecology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Bioinformatics including Health Informatics, Neurobiology, Biomedical and Artificial Intelligence studies in Biology.

•  Physical Sciences 

Basic Sciences (except for life sciences) and Engineering, Particulate Materials, Polymers, Glasses and Ceramics, Composites, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, Specially Designed Surfaces, Photonic Crystals; Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics.

Within the framework of the award, two young women researchers, who are doing research in these two fields of study, under 40 years of age at the date of 31st December 2020, will be supported.

Support Duration: 1 year

Support Amount: 120.000 TL
