Newton Fund Transforming Systems Through Partnerships
Run by the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Engineering X Transforming Systems through Partnership programme between TÜBİTAK and the Royal Academy of Engineering will build engineering teaching, research and innovation capacity within partner countries' universities to collaborate with local stakeholders and UK academics in meeting local and global development challenges.

Who Can Apply?
Higher education institutions within the scope of the Higher Education Law will be supported in line with the provisions of TÜBİTAK 1071- Support Program.
The project manager of the Turkey side should be a higher education and cooperate with at least one private company from Turkey. Additionally, at least one institution of higher education in the United Kingdom is required to cooperate.
Project Duration: Up to 24 months
Project Budget: Up to 720,000 TL (25% of total requested budget should be contributed by partner organisations)
Application Deadline: November 30, 2020
Project proposals should be submitted via Royal Academy of Engineering’s Website, and the national application should be submitted to TÜBİTAK system (https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr).
