ÖzÜ Received Two New Grants From ISTKA (Istanbul Development Agency)

Özyeğin University Center for Computational Finance and Center for Entrepreneurship received two new grants from ISTKA (Istanbul Development Agency) Financial Support Program of 2014.

Center for Computational Finance’s project entitled as “Systemic Risk Software” will be coordinated by Özyeğin University, and Center for Entrepreneurship’s project entitled as “National/ International Mentorship and Angel Investor Networking” will be coordinated by Galata Business Angels. Both projects will be supported under “Innovative Istanbul” Program of ISTKA.

Systemic Risk Software Project

The main purpose of the Project is to detect and minimize “Systemic Risk” stated in the Strategy and Action Plan for Istanbul International Financial Center, to establish “National Systemic Risk Software and Credit Rating Platform” and to increase transparency in finance market via the reliable infrastructure of the software. The duration of the project is 12 months and the total ÖzÜ budget is 910.000 TL.

National/ International Mentorship and Angel Investor Networking Project

The Project aims to improve innovation and creativity capacities of entrepreneurs via national/ international mentorship networks, to create alternative financial resources to public support and to contribute to enhance competitiveness of Istanbul in global economy. The duration of the project is 12 months and the total ÖzÜ budget is 70.000 TL.
