Technology Transfer Office Director Nilay Papila is the First NCURA Global Fellow from Turkey

Dr. Nilay Papila, Director of the Technology Transfer Office at Özyeğin University, has been awarded the Global Fellowship of the National Council of University of Research Administration(NCURA).

The NCURA was founded with the mission of serving its members and advancing the field of research administration through education and professional development programs, and the sharing of knowledge and experience. Each year, the NCURA chooses only one Global Fellow for its Global Fellowship program. Nilay Papila has been awarded the NCURA Global Fellowship as the first Global Fellow from Turkey and has been invited to Stanford University within the scope of this award.

The NCURA is internationally recognized as the preeminent resource for professional development, knowledge and leadership in research administration. The NCURA’s Fellowship programs have two underlying objectives: (i) the training of research administrators, and (ii) enhancing global research collaboration. These programs are intended to reduce barriers to global research administration and create an administrative framework conducive to global research collaboration. The Fellowship programs provide an opportunity for research administrators to travel to another country's research organization and to immerse themselves in a program of mutual learning and knowledge exchange.
