WE RECEIVED 10 AWARDS FROM ISTANBUL INTERNATIONAL INVENTION FAIR 22!
The 7th İstanbul International Invention Fair – 2022 (ISIF '22) within the TEKNOFEST organization was held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport between August 30 - September 4, 2022, hosted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) with the support of the International Federation of Inventors' Association (IFIA), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3).
As Özyeğin University Technology Transfer Office, we attended the fair with 10 patents and all our patents have been awarded. Asst. Prof. Ramazan Ünal and Barış Baysal's "AnkleMech: 3 Degrees of Freedom Ankle Prosthesis" technology was awarded the "Best Academic Invention" Award by IFIA. Also, Assoc. Prof. Ali Cengiz Beğen’s "A Method for Indicating Interest Points in a Media Player" patent was awarded a gold medal and Asst. Prof. Ramazan Ünal, Mahsa Sarrafi Khosrowshah, and Barış Baysal's "HandMech: A Light and Compact Hand Mechanism" patent received a silver medal. In addition, 7 different patents owned by Özyeğin University were awarded bronze medals. Patent and inventors' information about these patents is as follows:
