Researchers Digital ID

Researcher identification numbers are used to prevent problems that may arise from the similarities of names / institutions in the scientific studies of academicians. In this context, there are different academic databases such as Google ScholarORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) and Web of Science ResearcherID (Publons).

It is very important that the profiles in these databases are up-to-date in order to increase the visibility and citations of your publications and projects. Similarly, the fact that the institution to which you are affiliated in your profile is entered as ‘’Özyeğin University’’ is also important for corporate visibility.

TÜBİTAK carried out an update to add ORCID and Web of Science ResearcherID information to ARBİS and provided significant number of ORCID data to be transferred to ARBİS within the scope of current cooperation with YÖK. It is important that researchers who do not have ORCID or ResearcherID information in ARBIS enter this digital identity information into ARBIS so that they can take part in TÜBİTAK processes in line with their expertise. For this purpose, please click here to access the manual created by TÜBİTAK.
