Cluster 5- Destination 3: Energy Supply and Destination 4: Energy Use in Buildings and Industry First Group Calls for 2023 Opened!

At the core of the Horizon Europe Program; Climate, Energy and Mobility Cluster (Cluster 5) lies the idea of achieving the EU's goal of being the world's first climate neutral mainland by 2050. For this purpose, 6 destinations have been determined under the cluster and within this scope, calls are made within a certain calendar.

Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply is the third of these 6 targets. In order to achieve this goal, it is aimed to obtain more effective and successful solutions in the field of renewable energy, to strengthen the place of Europe in the global chain in the field of energy and to achieve the desired performance. In the aforementioned period, in the calls to be made within the scope of Destination 3:

• Renewable energy
• Energy Systems, Grids and Storage
• Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) topics are included.

Efficient, Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Use, which is the fourth of these goals, aims to use accessible, efficient and sustainable energy for all through a clean energy system and a fair transition. In the aforementioned period, in the calls to be made within the scope of Destination 4:

• More energy efficient building stocks where renewable energy sources, digital and smart technologies are effectively combined,
• It is seen that the subjects of Industrial Facilities are included in the Energy Transition.

Destination 4: Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use: 6 March 2023
