The Deadline for Applications of WE-inTech Has Been Extended Until May 31!

The “WE-inTech” Program aims to support research and development (R&D) and innovation on a global scale while encouraging women to be more involved and pursue careers in engineering and STEM fields. The program, which is aiming to empower women, is run by Arctic in Romania, Defy in South Africa, Dawlance in Pakistan, and Arçelik in Turkey.

The program targets 3rd and 4th-year female undergraduate students in the fields of engineering, science and technology. Although it primarily aims to support 'Next Generation R&D', it attaches importance to encouraging women to be interested in R&D and engineering fields. Therefore, only the applications of female students will be considered.

During the virtual workshop that will last for three days, students will have the opportunity to turn their innovative ideas into applied solutions by meeting with researchers from all over the world and teams from Arçelik, Arctic, Defy and Dawlance. At the same time, workshop participants will be able to work on developing products and business models that add value to society, through design-oriented thought leadership sessions.

Students who are eligible to participate will not only be able to work on ongoing projects in companies, but also receive mentoring services that will continue for one year within the scope of the program. After the completion of the workshop, students will also have the opportunity to evaluate the internship and job positions open in companies.

You can apply for the workshop, which will be held between 24 - 26 June 2022, until 31 May. For detailed information and e-announcement, please visit https://www.we-intech.com.
