LIFT UP ++ Industry Oriented Doctoral Studies Program

Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) has opened the LIFT UP++ call to support the theses and research studies of PhD students. In order to support PhD students in the relevant engineering departments of universities, scholarship support will be provided at twice the minimum wage monthly during their doctorate (minimum 8 semesters, maximum 10 semesters).

Who can Apply?

Students who have a doctorate in the following departments of universities:

• Mechanical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Electronic Engineering
• Electrical-Electronics / Communication Engineering
• Aeronautical Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering
• Computer engineering
• Manufacturing engineering
• Metallurgy and Materials Engineering
• Metallurgical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechatronic Engineering
• Software engineering
• Physics engineering

Scholarship Amount:  Twice the minimum wage monthly (minimum 8 semesters, maximum 10 semesters)

Application Criteria:  

• Being a Turkish citizen,
• Conducting research studies on doctoral subjects determined by Turkish Aerospace Industries,
• An undergraduate average of 2.85 (in the 4-point system) and above, and a graduate grade point average of 3.20 (in the 4-point system) and above,
• In the thesis stage, the thesis proposal has not been given,
• The applicant student is not working in any institution,
• Acceptance of 2 years of compulsory work in Turkish Aerospace Industries upon the completion of the doctoral thesis,
• Having YDS (70+), YÖKDİL (70+), IELTS (6+), TOEFL (70+) score,
• Not supporting by 2244 - Industrial PhD Fellowship Program,
• Application made by the student,
• Notifying the student's academic advisor during the application.
