Refereeing 2023 Calls for Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies

A study is being helded to identify the people who can act as arbitrators within the scope of the 2023 calls of the Cluster of Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies, gathered under the objectives of "Democracy", "Social and Economic Transformations" and "Cultural Heritage and Cultural and Creative Industries", and recommend them to the European Commission. As it is known, the European Commission subjects the projects submitted to the calls under the Horizon Europe Program to the evaluation of independent referees. As TÜBİTAK, the information we will collect from you will be sent to the European Commission in order to increase the number of Turkish arbitrators in 2023 calls under Cluster 2.

 

Arbitrators can be appointed by the European Commission in 4 ways:

 

  • Evaluators evaluate according to criteria determined according to the principles submitted to the Horizon Europe Programme. In this way, successful and financially supported project estimates are determined.
  • Observers make observations to observe the observation, how the evaluation is done, whether it is fair or not, and make suggestions about taking it to the European Commission.
  • Project Monitors assist the European Commission in the use application experience and inspection that qualify for support.
  • Program Monitors support the Commission in directing and monitoring programmes.

 

The European Commission pays the referees a stipend of 450 Euro/day for each full day of evaluation. In addition, travel expenses and accommodation expenses for participation in assessments in Brussels are paid in accordance with the relevant legislation.
