TÜBİTAK Special Call for the 100th Anniversary of our Republic for Social Sciences and Humanities Research

Social and human science research is crucial to today's increasingly complex problems. From climate change to building resilience to natural disasters, from solving individual and societal challenges to policy making, these disciplines need to offer a variety of perspectives. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey this year, under the name of "Special Call for the 100th Anniversary of our Republic", will support research projects that aim to understand the dynamics of history, culture, politics, economy and society and to offer new perspectives for the future. A call has been opened within the scope of the 1001 -  Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program.

 

This call aims to evaluate Turkey's 100 years of the Republic period and identify problems for the future. Projects are expected to focus on social development, sustainable development, history and culture, and interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged.

Within the scope of the call, projects submitted from universities, research centers, public institutions and private organizations will be supported.

 

Project Duration: Up to 36 months

 

Budget: 1,650,000 TL (excl. Project Incentive Premium and overhead)

 

Application Deadline: December 25, 2023
