Özyeğin University’s primary goal is to become one of Türkiye’s leading entrepreneurial research universities. In addition to placing great emphasis on academic research, the University focuses on university–industry collaboration, intellectual property rights, technology commercialization, and the establishment of technology-based ventures and startups as key components of its mission.
To support these objectives, the Özyeğin University Technology Transfer Office (ÖzÜ TTO) was established in November 2012. In 2013, ÖzÜ TTO was among the first 10 universities to receive support under TÜBİTAK’s 1513 Technology Transfer Offices Support Program.

Our vision is to transform every researcher into a project leader and every project leader into an entrepreneur, ensuring that academic knowledge translates into societal benefit.
Mission
Raises awareness of Technology Transfer Office (TTO) activities, innovation, and technology transfer through training sessions, events, and publications.
Provides project development, application, and monitoring services for national and international funding programs.
Collaborates with the private sector to strengthen university–industry partnerships.
Manages the intellectual and industrial property rights portfolio and carries out commercialization activities.
Supports company formation and entrepreneurship activities and implements accelerator programs.
