The Technology Commercialization Unit is responsible for conducting business development activities to transform research outputs generated at the University into social benefits and economic value.

Key Services:

• Developing and implementing marketing and commercialization strategies to transfer intellectual and industrial property rights owned by the University, including patents, utility models, and industrial designs, to industry.

• Managing relationships, negotiations, and contractual processes with potential companies and investors for the licensing and/or transfer of intellectual and industrial property rights with commercialization potential.

• Developing and managing relationships with institutions and organizations within the innovation ecosystem, as well as potential clients.

• Expanding ÖzÜ TTO’s national and international collaboration networks and organizing collaboration-oriented events to enhance capacity and visibility.

• Representing ÖzÜ TTO nationally and internationally before companies, investors, public institutions, and other universities.

• Communicating the University’s capabilities to external stakeholders and conveying external stakeholders’ needs to faculty members to facilitate effective technology transfer.

• Reporting on the outcomes of business development and commercialization activities.
