Dr. Elif Burcu Atçı graduated at the top of her class from the Department of Environmental Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, where she also earned her master’s and doctoral degrees. She further strengthened her technical expertise with project management and innovation competencies by completing a non-thesis master’s program in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Management.

As part of her academic work in environmental engineering, she has published scientific papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Throughout her professional career, she has worked in university–industry collaboration, technology transfer, the development of R&D and innovation projects, and project management.

She has developed expertise in project development, budget management, access to funding opportunities, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the research ecosystem within the framework of support programs offered by TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, and technoparks.
