Joint research projects between scientists in Turkey and China will be supported within the scope of the 2023 call between TÜBİTAK and China National Natural Sciences Foundation (NSFC).
Main Research Areas:
- Post-Disaster Waste Management, Safe Demolition and Environmentally Friendly Disposal and Recycling Technologies for Construction Wastes
- Innovative Construction Models for Seismic Isolation, Engineering Solutions for Architectural Designs, Advanced Engineering Material Technologies and Post-Disaster Reconstruction Studies
- Socio-Economic, Social and Environmental Widespread Impacts of the Earthquake
- Digital Technologies for Earthquake Engineering: Development of National Radio Communication Network for Central Disaster Management and Development of Integrated Real-Time Disaster Information Management System (DIMS)
- Comprehensive Scenario, Foresight and Analysis Studies
- Domestic Development of Advanced Technological Solutions and Systems that can Directly Contribute to Increasing the Speed and Efficiency of Search & Rescue Operations and the Detection of Survivors Under the Rubble During and After a Disaster
Scientists in Turkey who want to propose a joint research project should agree with the researcher(s) in China, with whom they will carry out the project together, as "project partners". Unilateral project applications are not accepted.
Budget: Up to 1,500,000 TL (excl. overhead and Project Incentive Premium (PIP))
Duration: Up to 3 years
