Within the Horizon Europe, the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), a Public-Private Sector Collaboration in health and life sciences research, has scheduled a single-stage 3rd Call, to open in December 2022, and scheduled a two-stage 4th Call, to open in January 2023. Draft call titles have been published for the call.
IHI call 3 (Single Stage Call)
- Topic 1: Screening platform and biomarkers for prediction and prevention of diseases of unmet public health need
- Topic 2: Patient-generated evidence to improve outcomes, support decision making, and accelerate innovation
- Topic 3: Combining hospital interventional approaches to improve patient outcomes and increase hospital efficiency
- Topic 4: Strengthening the European translational research ecosystem for advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) for rare diseases
- Topic 5: Digital health technologies for the prevention and personalized management of mental disorders and their long-term health consequences
IHI call 4 (Two Stage Call)
- Topic 1: Expanding translational knowledge in minipigs: a path to reduce and replace non-human primates in non-clinical safety assessment
- Topic 2: Patient-centric blood sample collection to enable decentralized clinical trials and improve access to healthcare
In addition to webinars focused on rules and procedures and preparing the financial part of your proposal, there will be webinars focused on the individual topics. The topic-focused events will be divided into 3 main activities:
- Info Session - Where you learn more about the call topics and the rules and procedures
- Matchmaking Time - Special allocated timeslots for you to identify and meet potential consortium partners
- Pitching Sessions - The pitching sessions are an opportunity to showcase how your consortium would address the requirements of the topic and explain what expertise you are looking for to complete the consortium. Pitching allows you to showcase how your skills, expertise and resources would be an asset for a consortium applying for a given topic
