PROGRESSS-TT EVENT: “Investor Roadmap: Turkey and EU Case”
The mentoring activities of the" PROGRESS-TT CAPACITY BUILDING FOR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER" program which is organized by the frame of Horizon 2020 project, in which OzU TTO was accepted in the past year, also continues in this year with its all productivity. Within the scope of these activities, a meeting has been occurred with our expert Jon Wullf Petersen in the new Innovation Center of OzU on March, 27-28. The outputs about the more efficient commercialization of intellectual and industrial property rights, which we have taken in the frame of the Progress-TT program, have been analyzed with our expert Jon on the first day of the meeting.
On the second day of the meeting, an event has been organized which titled "Investor Roadmap: Turkey and EU Cases" and all the ÖzÜ TTO team and other invited TTO personnel have attended this event. In this event, our expert Jon has talked about fund mechanisms that have been successful in Europe for the "PoC" (Proof of Concept) phase of the inventions and he shared his own experiences about the topic. Also, Jason Lau from the Fit Startup Factory has talked about fund practices in the investor-entrepreneur ecosystem in Turkey. His speech helped to clarify the picture in this respect for participants.
