Transdisciplinary Research for Pathways to Sustainability Call

The Belmont Forum is pleased to announce the launch of a collaborative research networking call on the theme: Transdisciplinary Research for Pathways to Sustainability.

Supported Areas:

It is planned to support joint projects that examine sustainable development goals from various perspectives such as economic, technological, environmental, climatic and human development in an interdisciplinary manner.

Call Topics:

Topic 1 – Development of novel networks and communities of practice that address the inter-linkages, synergies, and trade-offs among three or more of the sustainable development goals. 

Topic 2 - Synthesis of positive and negative inter-linkages among three or more sustainable development goals using quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies.

Projects to be supported under the call; It is expected to develop new networks and communities of practice addressing the interconnections and synergies between three or more sustainable development goals and / or to synthesize positive and negative links between three or more sustainable development goals using quantitative / qualitative methodologies.

Each international project consortium that will participate in the call must be established with at least three organizations from at least three different countries participating in the call. Institutions and countries contributing to the call; FWF (Austria), FAPESP (Brazil), MOST (Taiwan), AllEnvi (France), ANR (France), DFG (Germany), REGIG (Ghana), Future Eartch (Africa), IAI (America), GEO (Global) , NRF (South Africa), Turkey (TUBITAK), NSF (USA).

Project Duration: Maximum 24 months

Project Budget: Maximum 720,000 TL
