Netherlands Embassy has opened call for proposals that fit within the HUMAN RIGHTS and MATRA programme. Applications will be considered based on first-come, first-serve principle until all funds have been allocated.

  • Local NGOs,
  • Non-profit educational institutions,
  • Semigovernmental organizations
  • Municipalities

 

Project Duration: Maximum two year

  • Public administration and good governance;
  • Public order and law enforcement;
  • Media (freedom, literacy and pluralism);
  • The workings of (parliamentary) democracy;
  • Building resilient (civil) societies.

Priority Areas

  • Freedom of expression and internet freedom 
  • Freedom of religion and belief 
  • Equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and intersex (LGBTI) 
  • Equal rights for women and girls 
  • Supporting human rights defenders

Project Budget: Maximum €100.000
