TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards Application Announcement

Dear Faculty Members,

In 2024, awards will be given by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) in four categories: Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards.

Science Award: It is given to living scientists who have made significant contributions to science at the international level through their studies in our country.

Special Award: Equivalent to the Science Award, it is given to living scientists who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and have contributed to science at the international level with their studies abroad.

Service Award: Given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of science and technology in our country. Scientists who are no longer alive may also be nominated for the Service Award.

Incentive Award: It is given to scientists living in Turkey who have proven that they have the qualifications to make significant contributions to science at the international level in the future with their studies, who are not over 40 years old on the first day of the year when the award is given.

Candidates for the Incentive Award can apply personally or be nominated. Individual applications cannot be made for the Science, Special and Service Awards, a nomination is required.

** The Application Deadline was announced as May 31, 2024, but it has been postponed to July 7, 2024.
