5TH JOINT CALL FOR PROPOSALS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (S&T)
The 2020 S&T Joint Call on Infectious Diseases and Nanotechnologies thematic areas are now open for applications by South Asia –Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation.
Thematic Areas:
- Infectious Diseases (incl. COVID-19)
- Nanotechnologies
Project proposals following an interdisciplinary approach in the field of social sciences and / or humanities will be accepted.
Southeast Asia - Europe Joint Call Projects must comprise of at least 3 partners from 3 different countries (either 2 partners from 2 different Southeast Asian countries and 1 European partner or 2 partners from 2 different European countries and 1 Southeast Asian partner) applying for funding from funding agencies participating in the call. The targeted Technology Readiness Level (TRL) at the end of the project should not be higher than 4 (technology validated in lab).
Participating Countries: Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, The Philippines, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam.
Project Duration: Up to 3 years
Project Budget: 720.000 TL (excluding PTI and overhead)
Deadline for international application: December 15, 2020
Deadline for national Pre-Registration: December 22, 2020
