ACT3 Joint Project Call for 2020

Within the scope of the 2020 call of the Accelerating CCS Technologies - ACT3 program, the aim is to support international research projects for carbon dioxide capture, use and storage (CCUS) technologies.

Call Topics:

Chain Integration: R&D activities to fill the gaps in the integration of the CO2 capture, transport and storage chain, including relevant case studies that take care of community sensitivities.

Capture: Advanced technologies for efficient, low cost, high operational flexibility and energy efficient CO2 capture

Transport: R&D activities for CO2 transport to Europe's existing CCUS facilities for energy production through pipelines and ship transport

Storage: R&D activities for measurement, monitoring and verification tools and methods in and around relevant storage areas

Usage: Technologies where other business models and expected revenue streams are used as tools to make CCUS activities suitable. 

Each international project consortium that will participate in the ERA-Net Cofund call must be established with at least three independent organizations from at least three different countries participating in the call. Turkish applicants will be supported via TÜBİTAK 1071 Program.

Support Amount: Up to 720.000 TL

Support Period: Up to 36 months 

Stage 1: Pre-proposals to be submitted by November 10, 2020

Stage 2: Full proposals to be submitted by March 15, 2021
