Call for European Prize for Women Innovators, 2025 – EIC/EIT

The European Prize for Women Innovators is a call for awards designed to support women entrepreneurs behind Europe’s most groundbreaking innovations. The call is designed to reward women innovators from EU and Horizon Europe countries whose groundbreaking innovations are driving positive change for people and the planet.

The award is jointly managed by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute for Innovation & Technology (EIT). The award applications will be evaluated by an independent expert jury.

There are three award categories:

The Women Innovators Prize will award the most talented female innovators from across the EU and Associated Countries with a prize of €100,000, while the second and third place winners will receive €70,000 and €50,000 respectively.

The Rising Innovators Prize will award the first place winner with €50,000, second and third place winners €30,000 and €20,000 respectively, among promising young innovators under the age of 35.

The EIT Women Leadership Award focuses on women with a direct connection to the EIT Community. The winner of the EIT Women Leadership Award will receive €50,000, while the second and third place winners will receive €30,000 and €20,000 respectively.
