CITY-INTERCITY Seat Design Competition for Bus Vehicles

The Seat Design Competition for CITY-INTERCITY Bus Vehicles is organized by FKT Koltuk Sistemleri Üretim ve Dağıtım San. Ve Tic. A.Ş.

 

Objectives of the  Competition:

  • Have an essential place in the commercial vehicle sector and support innovative ideas about commercial vehicle seats,
  • Lay the groundwork for the design and development of original and modern products with high added value, which will increase the competitiveness of our country in the world transportation sector,
  • Bring students and the industry together,
  • Disseminate and encourage the design culture in Turkey.

 

Design Criterias:

  • Within the scope of product design, the seat should be considered as a whole and studies should be carried out in terms of engineering and design.
  • Lightness, ergonomics, modularity, innovative design-engineering, use of innovative materials, and innovative production methods should be considered.
  • Seat design should be made for City - Intercity Buses, Autonomous Buses and Electric-Hybrid Buses.

 

Awards:

  • 1st prize: 15,000 TL
  • 2nd prize: 10,000 TL
  • 3rd prize: 5,000 TL

 

Design Submission Deadline: October 1, 2022
