L’ORÉAL-UNESCO National Support Scholarships for Young Women in Science

The national program "Support Young Women in Science", an extension of the international "For Women In Science" program in partnership with UNESCO and L'ORÉAL, has been successfully carried out in Turkey since 2003. With the cooperation of UNESCO Turkey National Commission and L'ORÉAL Turkey, scholarships will be awarded in 2023 in order to encourage women scientists in our country for scientific studies.

 

Research areas are:

  • Life and Environmental Sciences: Bioinformatics including Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Ecology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Health Informatics, Neurobiology, Biomedical and Artificial Intelligence research in Biology.

 

  • Physical Sciences: Basic Sciences (excluding life sciences) and Engineering, Granular Materials, Polymers, Glasses and Ceramics, Composites, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, Specially Engineered Surfaces, Photonic Crystals, Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics.

 

Support Amount: 150.000 TL
