Participation in COST Actions and Action Suggestions 2023 Application Period

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is an intergovernmental organization established for European Cooperation in Science and Technology. It ensures the coordination of research projects supported by national resources at the European level, and its scientific coordinator in Turkiye is carried out by TUBITAK.

COST does not fund research itself but creates a platform for researchers to collaborate and share experiences on a particular topic (Action). COST Actions are interdisciplinary scientific networks that last 4 years and bring together scientists working in similar fields to research a scientific issue. COST Actions are open to all science and technology fields and created by the scientists of the COST member countries.

Financial support is provided by the COST Action budget for the expenses of Action Management Committee (MC) and Working Group (WG) meetings, scientific workshops and seminars, short-term scientific visits, courses and research conferences, and publications.
