In the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 project, where TÜBİTAK is also a partner within the scope of the European Union Ufuk2020 Program, the establishment of research and development partnerships in the field of obtaining electricity from solar energy among European countries, increasing the industrial applications in this field, determination of thematic areas, photovoltaic and to direct local and regional support for international R&D collaborations on concentrated solar energy and to develop long-term cooperation between national support mechanisms.
Areas to be supported within the scope of the call:
- Advanced Industrial PV Technologies
- Emerging PV Technologies
- Building and Infrastructure Integrated PV Technologies
- Performance Improving Technologies in PV Plants
- Low Cost and New Generation Concentrator Solar Energy Technologies
Application Conditions: Consortia with 2 participants from 2 different countries can participate in the project call, provided that at least 1 participant is from industry. A project will need to be supported by at least two countries to be selected. Funding institutions of some countries have stipulated that the projects they will fund themselves must be at least 3 different countries. This should be taken into consideration in partnerships with institutions from these countries. Countries and regions that may apply for the call; Austria, Belgium-Flanders, Cyprus, Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia, Greece, Israel, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
Project Budget: 720.000 TL
Project Duration: Up to 36 months
The project proposals to be submitted from Turkey within the scope of the said call will be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1071 Program.
