Updates in TÜBİTAK ARDEB Programs

Two new updates have been published in TÜBİTAK ARDEB Programs, which will be valid as of June 16, 2022.

Opportunity to be a  Principle Investigator for Doctoral Researchers who do not Work in any Institution/ Organization

Post-doctoral researchers who have a doctorate degree and do not work full-time/ permanent in any institution/ organization; as of June 16, 2022, within the scope of the support programs carried out by the Academic Research Funding Programmes Directorate (ARDEB) (except 1004, 1007 and 1003), provided that the senior official of the institution/ organization where the project will be carried out is approved, it is possible to take charge as a principle investigator. These individuals will also be able to take part in different projects as a scholar and  principle investigator at the same time.

Important Update in TÜBİTAK-ARDEB 1002 - Short Term R&D Funding Program

Project proposals that will be prepared for the elimination of problems that may arise in emergency or unforeseen situations or in which complementary supports needed within the scope of an ongoing research will be requested will be received under the "1002-B Emergency Support Module" as of June 16, 2022 and will be subject to a very rapid evaluation process will be held.

1002-A Quick Support Module

Applications to be sent to TUBITAK through the online application system under the "1002-A Rapid Support Module" in order to support short-term and low-budget research and development projects of the "1002-  Short Term R&D Funding Program " will be evaluated according to the new evaluation criteria.

Project Duration: Up to 12 months

Budget: 60.000 TL (excl. overhead and Project Incentive Premium (PIP))

1002-B Emergency Support Module

The purpose of the module is to support project proposals, which will be prepared for the elimination of problems that may arise in emergency or unforeseen situations, or which will require support such as complimentary research material and access to data needed within the scope of ongoing research, by subjecting them to a faster evaluation process.

Project Duration: Up to 6 months

Budget: 45.000 TL  (excl. overhead and Project Incentive Premium (PIP))
